By Using GuessMarket Wallet, You Agree to These Terms
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the wallet.
1 About GuessMarket Wallet
GuessMarket Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet browser extension that allows you to:
- Store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies
- Interact with decentralized applications (dApps)
- Manage tokens across multiple blockchain networks
- Connect to the GuessMarket prediction market platform
Non-custodial means: You control your private keys. We never have access to your funds or the ability to recover your wallet.
2 Your Responsibilities
As a user of GuessMarket Wallet, you are solely responsible for:
- Securing your seed phrase and private keys - Write them down and store them safely offline
- Never sharing your seed phrase - No one from GuessMarket will ever ask for it
- Verifying transaction details before confirming any transaction
- Understanding the risks of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
- Complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Maintaining the security of your device and browser
⚠️ Critical Security Warning
If you lose your seed phrase, you lose access to your funds permanently. There is no password reset, no customer support that can recover your wallet, and no way to reverse this. We cannot help you recover lost funds. Store your seed phrase securely offline in multiple locations.
3 Non-Custodial Nature
GuessMarket Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, which means:
- Your private keys are stored only on your device
- We cannot access, freeze, or control your funds
- We cannot reverse or modify any transactions
- We cannot recover your wallet if you lose your seed phrase
- You have complete ownership and control of your assets
This is by design. True ownership means true responsibility.
4 Risk Acknowledgment
By using GuessMarket Wallet, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:
- Cryptocurrency volatility: Token values can fluctuate dramatically
- Smart contract risks: dApps you interact with may have bugs or vulnerabilities
- Blockchain risks: Network congestion, forks, or failures can affect transactions
- Regulatory risks: Laws regarding cryptocurrency vary and may change
- Phishing risks: Malicious websites may attempt to steal your funds
- User error: Sending to wrong addresses or approving malicious transactions
5 Supported Networks
GuessMarket Wallet supports multiple EVM-compatible blockchain networks including but not limited to:
- Ethereum
- PulseChain
- Base
- Polygon
- BNB Smart Chain
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
Network availability and features may change. We do not guarantee compatibility with all networks or tokens.
6 Third-Party Services
The wallet may interact with third-party services:
- Blockchain RPC providers for network connectivity
- Price data providers for token valuations
- Decentralized applications you choose to connect to
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services. Your use of dApps and other services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
7 Intellectual Property
GuessMarket Wallet is built upon open-source software (Rabby Wallet) under the MIT License. The GuessMarket name, logo, and branding are property of GuessMarket.
You may not use our trademarks without permission, except as necessary to describe the origin of the software.
8 Disclaimer of Warranties
GuessMarket Wallet is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy of price data or other information displayed
- Security against all possible threats
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuessMarket and its developers shall not be liable for any:
- Loss of funds, tokens, or cryptocurrencies
- Lost profits or business opportunities
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your wallet
- Damages from third-party services or dApps
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Your use of the wallet is at your sole risk.
10 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use GuessMarket Wallet to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
- Conduct fraudulent activities
- Circumvent sanctions or export controls
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
11 Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do:
- The "Last Updated" date will be revised
- Continued use of the wallet constitutes acceptance of new terms
- Material changes will be communicated through wallet updates
We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
12 Termination
You may stop using GuessMarket Wallet at any time by uninstalling the extension. Upon uninstallation:
- All locally stored data will be removed
- Your funds remain accessible via your seed phrase in any compatible wallet
- Blockchain transactions are permanent and cannot be undone
13 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
